SOTTO Gujarat is premier organisation streamlining the process of cadavear organ transplantation in the state. With this service such as registration of hospitals, donors & recipients,harvesting and retrieval, allocation of organs and further medical followup of patients are being done. It involves organs such as Liver, Heart, Kidney, Pancreas, Lungs and other organs.
A computerized point system is maintained under the control of both the State Government and the Central Government. Based on this system, allocation of organs is done under SOTTO, ROTTO, and NOTTO.
