Bima Bharosa – Find Unclaimed Insurance Policies

IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) has introduced Bima Bharosa website/portal which allows to search unclaimed insurance policies (if over 10 years old) using the policyholder’s PAN, name, or date of birth. Alternatively, one can visit the “Unclaimed Amounts” section on individual insurer websites or can use Insurance Repositories (CDSL/NSDL) to check for forgotten policies.
